"Discover our cabins – Back to the 70's"

Back in the 1970s, a log-building course was held in Koivuniemi. At that time, several small cabins were built for our campsite – and they are still here! How could we part with them?

These cabins are meant for summer nights. Some have fridges and cooking facilities as well as electricity, while others are simply furnished with a bed, chair, and table. Travelers can rest and then continue their journey.

If your requirements are not high, and you enjoy breathtaking scenery, then your overnight stay belongs here. Luxury? – Yes, in the sense that you won't find this atmosphere in the middle of a city. Koivuniemi offers a nostalgic trip back to the 1970s.

Many guests sigh as they leave: "I haven't slept that well in years." That's the best feedback.

Free services: Beach, barbecue shelter, mosaic art exhibition

Guest Feedback

"A lovely, peaceful, naturally beautiful place. Warm atmosphere. We loved it ❣️ Nice art pieces 👍 We'll definitely come back."

"The food was delicious and prepared with thought. A place with traditions – in the best way."

A great wee place well worth visiting. Lovely scenery, beautiful house, friendly staff, and have to say the food was legit. In my many years in Finland it's rare to find something that "tastes like home" but if you want some proper Irish food they can do it here. Will recommend amongst the wider GAA community in Finland/Nordics and other friends as a good place to call into during any trip up this neck of the woods.
